    I looked at Norma, which is my first stop for a European bullet. They list their 7mm bullets at .284. A quick google search didn't turn up and .285 bullets but maybe more time & effort would result in success.

    See if you can find anyone making a 7mm barrel in .285 ?
    I wonder if owners who own 7 x 64 slugged their barrels and got the result properly and carefully measured what one would find ?

    I have come to the conclusion that the .285 is a thing of the past, from many years back.
