After an extensive telephone conversation with him this afternoon I am humbly obligated to eat my words and unfair criticism of his character. This gentleman is very much on our side, and the strategic game that he is involved in is played at a very high level. He has been an invaluable source of knowledge and information at very short notice and with limited available time.

Something exciting is possibly on the cards for this Friday. I am awaiting final confirmation, but it involves the SABC.

No, we didn't discuss that topic, and I suspect we will still differ in opinion on it anyway. That being said, we don't have to agree on everything for me to realise that he is a formidable character.

IMHO even this is an understatement.
In the talks he gives, and interaction at our association's monthly shoots, he comes across as a thorough professional and yet completely down to earth.
If anyone doubts his complete commitment and dedication to the general shooting public, I'm convinced you simply don't have enough facts about him or his contribution to our cause.
