    Default 577/450 Turned Brass cases

    Hello

I am looking for some 577/450 turned Brass cases.I have contacted Classic Arms and Kloppers without any success.I was wondering if anyone had an alternative source for these or knows anyone who makes them?

    Thanks.

Another option I have heard of is to get solid brass 16/20 gauge shotgun shells and fireform them in the MH. Fellow hunter imported his from England. Much better case capacity and expands to chamber dimensions.

My Dad has some .577 Base cases, 18 to be exact. These are straight walled and require annealing before forming down to .577/450. My Dad used them to form to his Martini-Henry. If of interest he wants R 900 for the lot.

    That's not a bad price.
I was off-hand quoted R2500 for 20 new brass the other day.

    Hi Gert,

I am sure he would consider but I must tell you that I think he did cut the barrel shorter. I will check.

    Cheers
