Ok, so its nearly the week end, what's everybody up to?

Hi All

Just thought I'd find out what we all get up to on week ends, but more importantly how active we all are with regards to shooting and hunting etc? I don't shoot too often at the moment, but need to change that. The wife's dragging me along to her friends birthday on Sat and then to her brothers on Sun, so thats my week end planned for me and the next week end is look pretty similar too :-\

Me and my wife will probably spend Saturday morning shooting our old smokepoles at the GunRunners shooting range in Pretoria. On Sunday we will probably go to SWAT shooting range in pretoria to do some load development for t he 7x57, and to do long range accuracy tests on the .50 Bounty pistol.

You see, that is what you get from not shooting every Saturday.

Tonight I will practice my dry-firing and tomorrow at 2 will be taking part in a Level 2 IPSC shoot. Saturday night I will have fun with my club mates and on Sunday after church I will be cleaning my pistol while watching the British Gran Prix. The only better weekend I will have this year will be the weekend of the 30-31 August when I will be shooting Nationals on the Saturday and the Sunday. How good can live get.

Howzit guys! My first post on this site and I have been wondering for quite a time when we'll have a forum like this...

Anyway, I'm departing this afternoon for Harrismith to visit a mate and his wife and to shoot a couple of blesbuck tomorrow. Looking forward to the cold weather as well...

Change of plans. We are going to pick a fight with some pigeons in a sunflower field close to Brits. Anyone interested gimme a pm, and I will reply tonight. No fees involved. The field is very big, with about 500+ birds in the field at any one givven time. Will happen tomorrow (Saturday 5th July)

New Week End.........

I have been a member of my local club since Jan'08 after moving to to PE. This club has a shoot every weekend and at the beginning of the year, each member gets a shoot to setup. This weekend it is my honours. The shoots has been drawn up and Saturday morning it will be my honour to setup 5 stages with assistance of my son... This will be my first and I am looking foreward to it.......

Taking a few friends out to the farm on Saturday to do some shooting!

1. Will be trying my hand at clay pigeon shooting for the first time - organized a portable machine.
2. Introducing a friend to guns - first time shooter. Going to start off with my .22LR pistol, move over to the Glock and then the shotgun.
3. Going to destroy a few dead hard drives, cdrom drives and whatever the guys bring along :P
