Re: Laselyte Training Devices
I see there is one on Guntree. Target and 40S&W laser for R1000.
Posted more than 3 moths ago though but seller (looks to be a dealer) might have more or know where to get.

Re: Laselyte Training Devices
A short update. I finally received the Laserlyte dry firing equipment. It consists of a box (slightly smaller than A4 size) with a red circle target on it which records the laser hits so you can see where your shots would have hit. You then insert the laserlyte cartridge into the barrel and dry fire the gun at the target. When the firing pin hits the cartridge it emits a momentary laser beam which records a hit on the target. You can then display all your hits. Then you reset and fire again. It is a fantastic dry fire tool since you can see your results and correct. It is excellent to practice your draw, grip, sight alignment and trigger control, which I guess is what dry firing is all about. I can' t believe none of our dealers are importing this product. It will sell like hotcakes!
I will see in the next IDPA shoot whether it has improved my shooting since if my last two shoots are anything to go by, my shooting needs major improvement..

I've been looking at this and think could be a great training aid. GK21 did you pay duties on it?

Re: Laselyte Training Devices
My brother in law brought it with his consignment so he paid the duties for me. Customs enquired what it was and he said sports equipment (which is technically correct) and the duties were not a lot.
Having used it more I can honestly say it is fantastic. Makes dry firing fun!
I have already realised some small errors in my sight picture and corrected and....bullseyes!

Re: Laselyte Training Devices
Would also be interested to find out whether any dealers are stocking these and, if so, the cost thereof...

Spartan Arms is selling the Laserammo laser dry fire training system with target etc. works great and has calibre adapters for 9mm, .45 ACP, .223 and 12 guage. Makes dry fire less boring.
