Had a fear that I might get pointed to the northern side of the border... Bots and Tiger Lodge is about on par with prices.... Anything cheaper and more local?

"My" guide does trips to Zimbabwe, but I'm not allowed in that country (long story and quite possibly not true ) so I have no idea on the prices. But I can send you his contact details if you are interested. Ex Protea angler. He does hunting trips too.

hhhmmm ….kids may go out of / leave your house one day, but will never be out of your pocket

I'm game. Haven't caught a yellow on a fly yet.

The season is right as the water levels are low. However, time is always an issue. I suggest we do this on a Sunday ... no booking or commitment. If you show up, great. If not, so be it. Sunday 5 October is an option.
