As far as I know Jan van der Berg took 2nd place at IDPA DMG nationals and has also won several IPSC matches with his Norinco AR15.

But it is an older model and I think it is fitted with a different stock and longer barrel than the C.Q.A.s sold now.

Got some good info on the DS, the SANDF snipers were hitting their targets at 650 m with it and raved about it!

i am leaning towards this rifle heavily, any other models that compete with this model i should consider?

If you would like a semi with which you can shoot long distance, perhaps consider an AR10 in .308?
