    Default Serated Sharpening

Where can I get my serrated Spyderco's sharpened in the East Rand?
Don't have the equipment to do the serrations myself.

Get a Lansky Blademedic sharpener for serrated blades. I bought one for about R100-ish. Many gun/knive shops stock them.

I have one but would rather let someone do it for me.
I don't want to risk damaging my blades.

Don't you think it will be worth the money to invest in something like the Spydreco Sharpmaker? It can sharpen most blades, serrated or fine edge. It comes with an instructional DVD and booklet and it is noob friendly. The price might be a bit steep but it is something that will last you a lifetime and you would never have to worry about finding someone to sharpen your blades for you.

Can anyone comment on the spyderco sharpmaker?

My boet has one, sharpen all my blades on it, including my serrated spydies (s30v steel) and it works a charm! Absolutely love it and will be getting myself one for xmas.

I've been using one for almost a year now and I will probably never use anything else again. It may not be the fastest to reprofile a blade but IMHO nothing will beat it at sharpening one.
