Why did AR-15 never take off in SA?
I can't tell you guys how much I like AR's, I think they great little rifles, yet we see so few of them around here. They accurate, light, are very accomodating, you can dress them up like a Christmas tree, and they have a few issues, what more could you want?
I'm just surprised they didn't take off here, wouldn't you have one if they were available?"You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life."

yes, yes and yes.
I think it's the importers who are at fault here.
If they were not imported they were generally not for sale.
The AR has everything going for it. The earlier models performed faultless in our environment although they faulted in subzero conditions.
You can tell it's from Martell was not a fair comment from persons to lazy to maintain their rifles.
