If you can afford to shoot the amount of Ranger T's (or any proper defense ammo) that will really effect your firearm's life, you can afford to buy a new firearm with your back pocket change every month. Heck you can probably afford personal security guard with a long gun 24/7.

I think it'll destroy the OP's gun. I'll dispose of it for him free of charge.

Seriously though, where did you find Ranger T's?

Keep them shoot them and they might save your life one day.

Would this cause excessive wear and tear on the firearm ?

    Thanks In advance

No issue. Make sure they're reliable in your 92 and carry with confidence.

Well, Co worker or not, Ranger T's are some of the best carry ammo there is. Provided it feeds in your firearm of course (this you need to test, read about that elsewhere). A lot of us are awaiting the Winchester shipment with bated breath and shiny polished credit cards. Mine and my wife's Rangers are due for replacement.

Does any one have an idea of when the shipment is due to land?

The ETA is early September, if everything goes well.

It's the usual story apparently. Still much uncertainty. Not sure if it's import permits, export permits or customs or some other ridiculous stumbling block dreamt up by the powers that be. But no clear date yet from what I heard yesterday.
