Thanks to the organisers and Kyle who ran our detail - my second Challenge. I improved a bit on speed and rounds used, so things are heading in the right direction

Just a reminder - never, ever take off your safety glasses - whether you are spectating or participating - I was writing down the times at range 1, standing behind the SO/Timer and the shooter and I got hit in the chest with shrapnel in two places. Both pieces punctured my shirt and penetrated my skin. Not painful or serious at all, but I think the result would have been disastrous if you were to get hit in the eye. I pulled the one piece out of me there. I dug the second piece out of me this morning when I realised it was still embedded !



Afterthought : looking at the pic now, I wonder if that is not a piece of the plate rather than a bullet fragment ? I noticed some of the plates were damaged by rifle fire.

Sorry about that - No its a piece of lead.
Someone, who does not want to own up shot our plates with a rifle and left pockmarks in them.
We have bought new plates to replace the damaged ones, but they were only ready late last week and we have not collected them yet.
We will have them ready for the next one.
