On Monday the Cape Argus for the first time EVER, printed a two pager on guns (good or bad). For once, it was totally balanced. It was historic, never has a English Newpaper been balanced on guns. Then the paper asked for readers comments. To date only Anti-Gun comments and GFSA people have written in and been published. People who spend all day on these forums commenting to other like minded people, rather write instead to the newspaper, here's your chance. Please cut and paste this throughout gunsite and mobilise all those armchair GFSA critics.We only ask that you be polite and logical without emotion and follow the rules they put down to be published (correct contact details for example).In stead of talking amoungst ourselves, try speaking to 90 000 people don't DON'T know about guns and safety.

Those are from last week Friday. The OP mentions yesterday (I think). Was hoping there was a new article. But I'm guessing you have the correct links.

Many pro-gun posts on the website ... clearly someone needs to direct the reporter to their own website for more information ...

Does someone have the mailing address and name of reporter of the publication ... we can send some mails directly to him.

Sorry guys, You're right...Raving Diode and Moomin, I'm new at this...will endevour to learn rules before openning the big mouth! in answer to you on the questions: my dates might be muddled but I saw the Anti-Gun article first about two weeks ago (they interviewed Proffessor Van As of the Red Cross Childrens Hospital (also a boardmember of GFSA) about Cape Flats Kids killing each other and the entire article was slanted ANTI. Two Pro-Gun writers wrote in and the next week, the newspaper went to False Bay Range and interviewed gunowners to balance their first article. At the end it gave chance to comment. (Correct, BTW, it was Friday's Cape Argus). Since then only anti-people have bothered to write in (up to last nights edition). Seems to me they mobilised, we didn't.
Again, sorry about the jumping in. I'll do better next time guys, it's a learning curve....
