Need advice on hunts in SA

Hey all,
Was looking for some opinions on places to hunt on my next trip to SA. I am a handgun hunter, and I am looking to hunt some of the plains game. On my list is Kudu, Springbock, and maybe wildebeest.

Are there any lodges that have experience with guiding handgun hunters? Good prices?

Hi Glockman, there is a handgun hunting association of South Africa. I would start with them. There are a few guys here on GS that hunt with handguns.

Hi there and glad you are interested to come and hunt in South Africa. A flight from SFO or NY or Washington can take you to London Heathrow and then directly to Cape Town overnight. We have some great hunting facilities in this area and can definitely assist you with a hand-gun hunt for plains game on all the species (and more) you listed above. When are you planning to come over?

Thank you for the replies. It will probably be August or Sept of 2015 when I retire. The wife wants to visit family in Pretoria during that time.
