Show us your 1911 thread
I don't think there is one, I did search through the site and through Google.
There is a couple in the Handgun Pron thread, but I think the epic 1911 deserves it's own thread.
Please post photos of YOUR 1911 currently in your possession or from the past, no use in posting photos from other sites. Could also be nice if you can list the mods done on it.
I'll post a photo of mine tonight when I get home.

Re: Show us your 1911 thread
My favourite pic of my 1911. It doesn't look like this any more though.
It spent a brief period looking like this:
Decided against getting it coated
This was a fun diversion. These grips are actually super comfortable, grippy and generally pretty nice. However I found the rail was not parallel with the bore. It is a budget way of getting a rail on your 1911 that is useful at pistol distances.
And she's back in her work clothes now. Rescomp hammer, PT night sights, STI slide stop, Ed Brown flat main spring housing, Wilson clip on mag well, VZ Operator II grips, Chip McCormak trigger, Wolf spings and AMT mags. My main competition mags are Chip's with Tripp internals. :

Not a classic 1911... but hey, still falls in the same class.
Bul M5 Polymer framed hi-cap 1911 in 40S&W
IPSC Standard gun, so added some grip-tape, and has since had a heavy brass mag-well added as well.
