It's a Unique arms. 22 caliber combo rifle. Couple of guys on GS have one. You remove the barrel of the handgun and lock it into the barrel in the stock. Turns it into a pretty accurate semi auto. That is a 30 round magazine. You need to license two barrels unfortunately.

Its a pity he did not shoot with it!
Edit. I once asked why you don't get higher capacity magazines for .22 pistols. I was told its because with rimfire ammo the magazine needs to be curved if more than say 12 rounds are in it. But yours is straight and takes 30 rounds.
I would not mind getting such high capacity mags for my S&W 422 pistol. I will be fun.

Re: Post your Rimfire pics here.
Here is my little collection of .22s:
The rifle is an old Walther .22 LR. It has a 5 round magazine as well as a 10 round magazine (not in the pics). It is also threaded for a suppressor and has a small ring that you can screw on over the thread when not using the suppressor.
The two little ones:
The one on the left is a Colt .22 Short, single shot. It has a break-open action that opens to the side to add a round in the chamber. As far as I know it is the 4th Gen version. It has quite some signs of ageing, but it still fires! The one on the right is a North American Arms .22 Magnum 5-round revolver. Some close-ups of these two little ones:
