Crossman Phantom
I ventured into S&O Last week in search of an upgrade for my 30-year-old pelletgun (I unfortunately have to evict a regular gaggle of Indian Mynahs from my surrounds). My eye settled upon the Crossman Phantom. At the price I wasn't expecting much other than serviceable close-range accuracy.
After about 40 shots with me thinking I'd just bought a lemon it started to find its sweetspot. After setting the (open) sights in I was getting groups about the size of a 5cent piece at 15m. At 25m the groups loosened a bit but were still all around 3 - 3.5cm. I was using 10.3grain pellets.
Pretty decent if you're looking for something basic that does the job.

Re: Crossman Phantom
If I am not mistaken, they can be converted to a gas ram (STBC).
Makes a HUGE difference in recoil and consistency.

Re: Crossman Phantom
+1 on the gas ram suggestion. Makes a huge difference in springers.
