    Hi KK20,
In terms of my 'custom job' ... For this knife I decided upon the Pikal method of blade use (held in reverse grip with the cutting edge inwards) and decided to 'model it' on the ShivWorks Disciple.

    In terms of the Specs:
Blade Length: 10.5cm (from blade to hilt)
    Blade Thickness: 0.30cm
Blade Material: N690 (440C), Bead blasted finish
    Blade Style: Modified Drop-Point
    Overall Length: 21.50cm

The one modification that I opted for was to have No false edges on the blade, so the first 2.5cm of the top edge of the blade has also been sharpened to accomodate for this requirement.

Khumba, I think that you will really like this one my friend :)
I had a trainer made up as well and both units have Kydex sheaths also made to spec so as to allow for a natural draw stroke - The live blade operates like a dream :)

If anyone would like to check out Mike's work give him a call on 0824826463 ... You will not be disappointed!

    Be safe guys

    Kind regards,
    RobertC

Mike makes his own Kydex sheaths as far as I know.
