Mauser fans, Mauser butt plates.
Finally I managed to get it right. After looking for years I got fed up and decided to make my own Mauser butt plates.
I have made a mold and made some samples. resin and chop fibre for strength. tinted to the right colour. I fitted one and it looks original.
seeing that Mauser don't make these anymore I thought if anyone is looking to replace their old broken one with an original looking knock off. I can help.
I have made two styles one the older style buffalo horn hand cut. and the newer large checkering version. pic here.
pm me if you are interested. Attachment 16759

Re: Mauser fans, Mauser butt plates.
I am interested but must still see which one I require for a Mauser Oberndorf 1930 Sporter that I am in the process of getting. It's stock is not original.
