    Default .22 Rimfire ammunition collection

    Dear fellow Gunsiters

I have started a small collection of .22 Rimfire cartridges, specifically for the different headstamps. I have done some research on the headstamps and their respective manufacturers, but there are still a few that I could not determine. Perhaps someone on GS also collects rimfire ammunition or is knowledgeable in the field of rimfire ammunition headstamps?

Here are 2 images of the .22 LR collection:

Headstamps from left to right and what I could find out about them:
    1. Super X (shot cartridge) - Winchester
    2. V (shot cartridge) - manufacturer unknown...
    3. U - manufacturer unknown...
    4. RMC - Ronden Manufacturing Co. (apparently the former name of (or a division of) Swartklip)
    5. CF (brass-color casing) - manufacturer unknown...
    6. E - manufacturer unknown...
    7. CF (silver-color casing) - manufacturer unknown...
    8. R - RWS
    9. SP - Swartklip
    10. H - manufacturer unknown...
    11. S - Swartklip
    12. Super X - Winchester
    13. C - CCI

I also have a small variety of .22 Short and .22 Flobert rounds:

Headstamps from left to right and what I could find out about them:
    .22 Flobert:
    1. C (blank cartridge) - CCI
    2. Some sort of fruit - RWS...?
    3. HP - Hirtenberger Patronen...?
    4. SB - Sellier & Belliot
    .22 Short:
    5. SP - Swartklip
    6. OA - manufacturer unknown... (this seems like a rather interesting one...)
    7. RMC - Ronden Manufacturing Co. (apparently the former name of (or a division of) Swartklip)
    8. SB - Sellier & Belliot
    9. F - Federal

If someone could help me identify some of the headstamps or correct my findings, I would greatly appreciate it. I might also be looking into collecting the boxes at some stage, seeing that they apparently could have some significant value in the future as collector's items.

    Thanks guys and best regards
