Price of .22lr ammo

Whats the going price of .22lr ammo these days? Anyone buy lately in CPT?

In GtG I can pay from R45 ish per 50 up to R160 per 50 (CCi's). Not including pricing on the 555 packs, my guns do not like them.

Depending what you buy.

What are you buying for?

Thanks guys. Will be for a Walther Colt M4 semi-auto. Still waiting for licence, so will start shopping around to see what is available locally.

Brick = 500 (10x50). The 555 idea is maybe Winchester's effort to get rid of shit that nobody really wants.

Hi Tsa. My .22 pistol just loves .22 Mini Mags. It is really good ammo for pistols, clean shooting, accurate (in pistols) and so far, 100% reliable. Buy them, you won't be sorry. They are about R120.00 per pack of 100 the last time I bought them.

Mine ran 100% on the Winchester high velocity stuff - 1430 fps - I was paying R140 odd per 100.

Stay away from the cheaper stuff with that gun - I learned the hard way.
