Bush pig near Tswane China Mall

Small report: we saw a fully grown bush pig yesterday at dusk. It was roughly 3km from Tswane China Mall on the Pumulani small holdings on the KwaMhlanga road. First time that I hear of them in this area.

One of the biggest warthog boars I have ever seen, was at the Carousel tollgate walking on the army grounds next to the fence! Massive thing!

Their numbers are increasing and so is their range, especially in the South and Western Cape. A new sighting has been near the Holy Trinity Church in Belvidere, Knysna. I've hinted to the HOA that I will take care of them, but my "joke" was met with distaste from a number of the British Colonial Settlers offspring. So for now the piggies are doing what they do best and perhaps even attending church.
