    Default .22 lr Sport shooting

    Hi all

Hope you guys can help me. I am looking for a .22 lr Sport shooting club in Pretoria, does anyone know of one? I want to try it out. Also, does anyone know exactly what gear is needed?

    Thanks all
    Pieter

Introduce yourself to the forum on the Intruductions thread (unless you've done that already...)

then google "National Shooting Association" and look at their postal shoot competitions. I run both a scoped and an unscoped .22 rifle in those competitions, as well as a .22 pistol.

    Hi,

I have just found out that SA Hunt has a .22Lr rimfire league and that looks very nice I think I am going to give that a try.

If your're into semi-auto rifles then IPSC and IDPA shoots are tons of fun as well as the Steel Challenge.

If you haven't checked out Tactical .22 your are missing out on some serious eye candy (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Tacti...=photos_stream)

I belong to the Pretoria Practical Shooting Club. Rimfire rifle is just one of the disciplines, appart from clay shooting, centre fire rifle, pistol and big bore rifle. You get to shoot them all on one day and on interesting and differently set up ranges. Great fun.

Isn't there a .22 silhouette shooting club somewhere. That would be fun.
