So the silly game is still on: Try and disarm through legislation, and also through administrative unjust and malicious procedures.

My personal view is that we will now again see an increase in the frequency of the latter tactic, and that for as long as the Zuma government is in power, or desperately tries to cling to absolute power through whatever means, they are already working on a new piece of legislation, which will be even worse for us if it is signed into law.

The organised gun rights movement in SA has created some space and a little bit of momentum for taking our ideals forward. An enormous amount of energy has been spend behind the scenes.

Now is the time for all South Africans that love their families and their country to build on this and to take the fight forward exponentially.

Guys, if YOU reading this, do not act upon this "call to arms", don't be surprised if your worse nightmares become true. It CAN happen.

Practically speaking, my humble and biased suggestion is that you need to recruit more paying members for GOSA.

There are many battles that can be fought, and we are lined up to do so, but we as a community at the very least need to indemnify those individuals amongst us against the unlikely risk of an adverse cost order for taking those matters to the high court in their personal capacity, but on behalf of the entire community.

Unfortunately we are currently not even there yet.
