Call me paranoid but I for one am hesitant to promote this on a gun forum.

Why? And it is in the Airsoft subforum.

Dunno. Something about an argument that we don't need real guns to participate in these sports, fake ones can do the job.

Meh. Distance and wind mean we do. Skill level with recoiling guns vs GBB. Participating in an internationally recognised sport. Kinda like agruing we don't need race cars because you can do the same thing with RC cars

Yeah probably. I know we have an argument.

As I said, call me paranoid, especially since this forum was mentioned when the proposed amendments were discussed.

I can see where you are coming from, this is a development of the sport for places where guns are heavily restricted. So yeah I can definitely see the concern. I do think is it cool though. And some Airsoft IPSC style gund rival real steel in cost.

Yep, at the moment I'm wanting to trade my Airsoft IPSC gun ( value + R8000) for a G17 or G34 haha
More seriously, in America, with the cost of ammunition rising and the distances to the range, many shooters have bought airsoft replicas of their favourite guns and set up courses in their garage, in the garden...
Great way to introduce kids to the sport too ;)
