Default The Red Circle - Brandon Webb

Finished this book last night. A very well written and good read. This guy trained some of the best snipers. Chris Kyle being one of them. He also trained Marcus Luthrell before he was involved in the Red Wings op.

A nice read and some info on life in the SEALs before 9/11. Highly recommended!

Now on to my next books...

    Service by Marcus Luthrell
T.A.P.S by Patrick McNamara....browsed through this last night and saw some awesome pistol and rifle drills...this book might be the final push I needed to get an AR15.

I am also busy reading this book and find it to be a very good read. Before this one, I read American Sniper, which I enjoyed, but The Red Circle is a much better read.

I also loved the book. I even got hold of the ebook to listen to while driving. Sadly I even subscribe to his media network and listen to the Sofrep pod casts.

If you like pre 9/11 SEALs look into SEAL team 6 by Howard E Wasdin.

I wish I could find more on Delta and our local guys, Recces, Bats, etc.

Agree on Seal Team 6 by Howard Wasdin...a very good read.

For Delta you need to read Inside Delta Force and Black Hawk Down.

I've read Inside Delta Force by Eric Haney. I got some info though that some of the "stuff" in the book is a little exaggerated. Which kinda sucks cause I really enjoye the book and it got my interested in instinctive (reflexive) shooting.

How does Black Hawk Down the book compare to the movie, as i've only seen that?

Black Hawk Down is an excellent book and one of my favorite movies. I think due to the fact that info on Delta is closely guarded by the US, there is not a lot of former operators writing books about them.
