SOG Multitools

Hi Gents.

I currently have a Gerber Suspension multitool. It is a bit of a let-down in terms of quality. The pliers have play in it, the blades are far too short and it is too bulky and heavy for the amount of tools that you get.

So, looking at other options (and before defaulting to Leatherman. I will keep it open as an option), does anyone have experience with any of the SOG multitools? They look rather nice and I've always wanted to own something SOG.

The SOG's are , in my inexpert opinion , excellent perceived build quality is high. Very user friendly.

SOGs are rock.
I will send you pictures of all the ones I have alongside the SOG , see for your self.

I have both the small and large.

I also own a standard Leatherman, a wave and a Victorinox.

Imo the Victorinox has the best overall finish and workmanship of the lot but not better by any scale tipping margin at all.

My default user is one of my SOGs due to the (I believe exclusive and patented) compound leveraging that the system provides. The compound leveraging provides the best power grip with pliers in the bussines. I doubt that any of the others can get close to the plier power of the SOG which imo is a scale tipping feature.

If I intended to have only one SOG it would definately be one of the large models.
