Re: Zastava M92 and Modifications
That's the rub. The price of getting a professional to do it may offset the advantage of having it.
I know I got Mark to do some pretty off the wall stuff, but that was mostly pistol work.
That on on AKFILES is pretty damn sweet. It all looks "do-able", just expensive.

Re: Zastava M92 and Modifications
Ok finally made it to the range today. Dialed in the Aimpoint T1 at 25 meters and proceeded to do some drills.
Gun worked flawless with Norinco and Romanian ammo (30 and 40 rnd mags). I shot hand sized groups off-hand at 25m as quick as I could get the sights back on target. The rifle recoiled a bit more than my Type 56 and you could see more of a muzzle flash than the Type 56 (expected with the shorter barrel).
Shot some A4 sized targets at 50m in the prone position with 5 shots under 8 seconds with all rounds finding paper around the center of the page.
I'm impressed with the rifle, its light and easily to point and shoot with the T1. All I might change, is fitting a decent muzzle break to get a quicker follow up shots.

Re: Zastava M92 and Modifications
Does it not have a thread protector kept in place by a spring loaded pin in the front sight/gasblock?
