Avoid printing at Family
Hi Guys
For some un-particular reason I avoid telling close family about carrying even though they have nothing against it,and they would like to carry as well, I created this paranoia that they might just tell someone else, which instead would tell someone else, and there goes your whole secret
Is this natural and common with some of you as well
By Close family I mean ( Brother, Sister)
Just out of curiosity

Re: Avoid printing at Family
Gotta be honest. Anyone who I know well enough to bother socializing is well aware if the whole me and guns thing.
If you don't like guns I don't bother spending any unnecessary time with you.

Re: Avoid printing at Family
I have some of my really close family knowing that I carry. But I generally avoid telling/hinting to others, even in the larger family, that I carry. Since they don't really need to know, I don't let them know. Generally I am of the opinion that the less people know that you carry, the better. This will avoid the classic scenario of having someone shouting during an armed robbery "You have a gun, do something!". You never know what some people might do under a life threatening situation...

Re: Avoid printing at Family
Anyone who frequents my house, knows I carry. That means all family and close friends.
It will be kind of obvious as they often arrive when I am cleaning my guns or reloading.

Re: Avoid printing at Family
My family and some of my friends know that when I'm wearing a lose button shirt over my T-shirt, I'm carrying.

Re: Avoid printing at Family
I prefer to have family and close friends know and perhaps have them ask questions and find out a bit more info from me than let them just remain Sheeple all their lives.
