And they work well too.
To test them i used them on a 6.4km prequalification L2 hike last Friday.
I was able to navigate the whole course and stay in comms with the co-ordinator, without fumbling for the PTT button.
When one is out of breath it really is irritating to have to search for the PTT to relay checkpoints and keep up with the pace.
It was stupidly hot and humid and I managed to finish the course with the earpiece staying were it was meant to except for the few times a removed it to try get cooler.Recent studies show that 1 out of every 3 liberals are just as dumb as the other 2

Looks nifty, but....
How tight do they have to be?
Does it pickup breathing?
Will it work with a "Kenwood TH-F7E"?

Re: www.tacqm.co.za Throat Mic with Ear Piece
Hi Andy.
Not very tight. As stated I did the 6.4km hike with the mic attached it was extremely hot and physical.
Nonetheless both of us participants kept the mic's strapped on for the duration. Yes it may have added to the heat we were experiencing, however they stayed strapped on for the duration.
I do not think test with physical exertion & heat is a fair test. Lapel mics are better for such events.
However they needed to be tested, and passed with flying colours
The outside gap between the two jack pins is 14.5mm, the inside gap is 8.55mm.
Diameter of each pin is 3.55 and 2.5mm
If you check these sizes it should confirm compatibility.Recent studies show that 1 out of every 3 liberals are just as dumb as the other 2
