New to carbines or need to take your carbine out of the safe and dust it off for a refresher.
•AK platform and variants such as LM’s, Galil, Dashprod etc
• AR Platforms AR15, AR10. AR15-22


Although we cover some fundamental marksmanship concepts this workshop is focused on safely and effectively running you gun.
With each of these platforms we will cover core skills universal and unique to both these systems

• Basic field strip
• Loading and unloading (high and low pressure reloads and ammunition management)
• Basic marksmanship –similarities and differences between the two platforms
• Slung and unslung options
• Malfunction and clearance drills
• Stationary and mobile firing concepts

Ammo required: 150 rounds per platform is recommended as minimum
Ammunition available at the range shop (please let us know when you book if you will purchase ammo for this course at the range shop when booking and they will provide you with a course special).


Costing package options

Option 1 Bring your own guns and ammo R795
Option 2 Bring either your AK or AR platform carbine and loan the other platform R895 + ammunition
Option 3 Loan both platform carbines R995 + ammunition

At the end of the time besides a good revision course you will receive a certificate of training that can be submitted to CFR for “proof of need” for your renewal or any further purchases.
