Introduction: Substitute hobby for fashion :-)
Hi there, I go under the name of Honnęte.
Wanted to join Gunsite for a very long time. Finally got round to it.
So here I am, introducing myself...
I have a Colt 1911 MK IV Officer's ACP [series 80]. I have recently received my long awaited punisher grips for my Colt. I had a Kel-Tec, but decided that the trigger pull was too long and heavy to use as a self defence firearm. Will now apply for a Glock42 as my SD firearm as I think it is a perfect gun for a girl and that the Glock42 is very concealable. I am also waiting for my Crimson Trace Laser, TRUGLO Tritium sights, extended mag release (of course!) and a custom punisher rear slide cover plate (wanted it in pink though....). The SAPO strike has delayed them, but will hopefully have them real soon.
Once I've got everything together, I'll take everything to Geoff for a matching holster.
I have also shot some of the following guns: Mossberg, LM4, BXP and Commando. But, my true love is an original Colt 1911. I shot with it at a range. It was someone else's Colt and it had a custom trigger, I have never shot anything that came close to that Colt. That is the reason I have my baby Colt.
LOVE this new hobby!
Hoping to learn more from you guys and I intend to be of help in any way possible.

Cool accessories on that 1911. I hope to introduce my wife to a Glock 42 sometime to warm her up to the idea of EDC.
