    Default Hogue pistol grips

I have been looking at grip options for my 229 for when she comes home, and I had a look at the Hogue options.
I have handled a gun with the rubber Hogues, and they are amazing, but I have no way of knowing how they perform when wet.
I also saw their checkered aluminum options and their G10 offerings, but I have not had the opportunity to fondle them.

Do you know these grips and how they perform, with dry hands and wet?

If I'm not mistaken the Sig 229 Scorpion comes with the Piranha G10 grips. That being the case, I really like the feel of it. No shooting experience with it though.

Let me know if you find someone bringing them in at a cost that won't require organ donation.

Got my eye on this http://www.hogueinc.com/store/produc...blackgray/7668

I have the aluminium hogue grips on my 226 and have enjoyed them.
That said I'll be getting the G10's shortly as replacements.
For what it's worth, I spoke to the guys at Hogue and the checkering on the aluminium and G10's is the same.
Overall it seems the G10's are the favourite.
Don't know if that helps at all...
