LM Mods
Howzit everyone
Needing some ideas and input please. So I picked up my LM6 the other day, and I'm over the moon! Couldn't be happier!
Now, the baby, well....she wants new toys you see...and clothes....*sigh*
I've already out a Magpul MS3 sling on her, and will be looking to fit a Magpul AK grip as well.
I'm looking to keep her as lightweight as possible, but in the meantime, would also like to add a light. Any suggestions on a light and how to mount?
Thanks in advance!
Marshy

Re: LM Mods
I have a compatible UTG forestock that I do not want, if you are interested.

LM Mods
Modified dust cover with RMR mount as per pic. Paul from TACSHAC kindly set me up. Pic shows an ARMS suppressor, I changed out to ASE Utra CQB model. I found the UTG rail with lights, suppressor etc. To front heavy. The RMR as is, has given 0 issues to date - 2 years and maybe 3000 rounds.

Re: LM Mods
Fwiw, Ryan, I have run a LM6 to the point of smooth bore, and I can count the hundreds of rounds I have shot with a varied foregrip/ different buttstock/ suppressor/ non standard flash hider/ mussel break et al on one hand.
i have also run the same said weapon for several thousand hours as an operational weapon with various SVC crews around the country with just the addition of a simple LED torch, attached to the flash suppressor, with no serious problems.
Less is more, learn the weapon. Attachments are useless unless they pay their way. Sometimes the great kit is there to make you buy it.....
