Re: A very bad incident, and a possible good lesson learned.
Sterkte! At the end of the day he had to deal with a really shitty situation, the consequences of which are his own to face at the moment. You point out pertinent home-truths in the original post, and I don't think there is much else to add...except that I hope he pulls through. In a way this is a bitter vindication of the mantra we repeat all the time, and God alone knows what would have happened had he not fought back.

Re: A very bad incident, and a possible good lesson learned.
Eastvale in Springs.
I got an update from a mutual friend that went to the hospital. The bullet stuck high in his chest, no organs were hit, no exit wound. Blood-loss is the main concern. They were trying the get his white blood-cell count up (I would have thought red blood-cells would be the problem. but maybe the message got a bit mangled). Or my obvious lack of medical knowledge strikes again.

Not something some one would want to go through, thanks for the post and hope he recovers fully.

Hey man, very sorry to hear that! He stopped the break in getting any further and anyone else getting hurt, first prize. A great pity he got hit. Send him our best and hope that he gets up and going again soon!
