OWB Holster for use on range
I want a holster on OWB (belt or paddle) for use at the range. It's to carry an M&P9mm full size.
Any of these are available to me from Milsec.
Is it worth spending all that extra cash on a Serpa or Fobus or will the SAPS one do just fine?
Thanks for any insight.

Why put an R8k gun in a cheap ass holster?
Spend the money on decent equipment. It's there to save your life after all.
I don't consider Fobus to be decent.
There have been ND's reported that are directly related to the SERPA locking system. Some US instructors have banned them from their courses.
My choices are Comp-tac, Raven Concealment, Carter Custom.Cattle die, kindred die, every man is mortal:

the glory of the great dead.

Will you be carrying IWB (when not at range)? I also wanted a OWB for range, etc use but an IWB carried strong side behind the hip with t-shirt or shirt tucked behind the gun and good belt is basically the same as OWB - plus you can train and get used to your carry holster. Just my opinion - I don't do shooting sports with the pistol yet so this is the context in which you should read this.

Thanks SSP and shooter.
I'm a little unsure I want to spend 'big money' on a holster NOW.
I'm currently unlicensed and use the dealers M&P when on range - I've just started attending club shoots. I am waiting for competency and SD license for my own M&P, which either one may be declined...one never knows.
If and when I get licensed, I will have no hesitation is spending money on quality stuff, I generally don't skimp.
The SAPS one will fit on a tactical belt and will "do fine" for the range use, no?
Thanks SSP, noted about the ND's with Serpa.
