    I remember the colourful pamphlet; we were called up in '93 but got away because we were in school. Did bivacs though.

    I never served in the SADF (little too young) but I collect everything related to it. These formed part of the information pack one received along with their call up papers for national service.

    The DD1806E provided official information about the different arms of service and their associated units, duties of employers for staff undergoing national service, pay and allowance, expenses, exemptions etc.

    "MILPAK" contained some inspirational text from the then CSADF (Kat Liebenberg SSAS, SD, SOE) and basically was more a list of how to get fit, what to bring, the consequences of AWOL, details about leave and a bunch of ads for Bob 2000, SADFI and stuff.

    As for the Bart Simpson sticker, not sure where that came from but obviously not part of the "official pack" haha - was hoping someone might be able to shed some more light on it?
