Old question with a twist?

Okay so I handed in my Competency on 26/02/2015.

After I did this I bought a CZ P09 and a Ruger .22lr American

Can I send in my app's on those guns now or is it too late and I have to wait for the Competency to return?

I submitted two additional license apps while my competencies were still under consideration. Made very clear reference to that fact and highlighted the competency reference number CFR issued in bold, italics and yellow. DFO was happy with that.

Competencies were approved last Thursday; now the wait for the licenses begins...

Hi Bok

Competencies (handgun, shotgun, manual rifle and semi-auto rifle) received by CFR 8/1/15;
Criminal check completed 14/1/15;
Competencies in consideration wef 2/2/15 (SLA 2 weeks);
Competencies approved 5/3/15.

Apparently they were sitting with quite a backlog, thus the delay. Advised that the app's submitted with the competencies (pistol and two bolt action rifles) should be processed within six weeks of the competency approval date. Time will tell...

Second round of apps (another bolt action rifle and a semi-auto rifle) were handed to the DFO 17/2/15; sent to Provincial 5/3/15; pending receipt by CFR.

All apps under S16 - DSS.
