Default Firing .458 Win in .458 Lott Chamber

Obviously the Win is more economical but can firing the Win in a Lott chamber damage the chamber - eg. gas/flame cutting at the front of the chamber. We probably only put a few hundred rounds a year thru the Lott (Brno 602) so usage is not huge.
Would like feed-back (positive or negative) from guys who have actually done this over a period of time.
    TIA

According to Prof Koos Badenhorst it is not wise to fire too many .458 Lott or .458 Win Mag in a .458 Express because it erodes the throat and chamber faster. I guess the same principle would apply in your case.

Thanks Ds. Exactly the same. Nobody more qualified than the good Prof on this score. We are really trying to justify swapping out most of our .458 Win brass for Lott (2:1) to save unnecessary wear and tear on our very sweet 602 and just use .375H&H for our lady students.
