    Default Big bore stock

Who in SA does a good job on building a big bore stock that will not set me back an arm and a leg. Will a laminate stock do the job for a .458, and if so, where can I find one. Hoping to get away between 5k and 7k. Any advise will be appreciated.

    Regards

    Stefan

    Default Re: Big bore stock

From my investigations a while back, it was going to cost about R4000 just to rough cut(general shape) and do a 95% inletting to the stock from out of a blank piece of wood that I would supply. I was planning do the finishing including checkering myself.

EDITED: If I got the same guy to do the checkering, that would cost anything from R1400-R15000 depending on what you wanted done.
