Mate, personally I think a few placards may be good, wearing the new sport-shooting shirts will be excellent and then speaking to any- and everyone who comes past and shows the slightest bit of interest about why you are there and what is going on is the way to go.

If we get a good bunch of people then that will get the media interested which means we get to spread our message, which means we get to inspire all the other gun owners out there who are thinking 'yeah, but I don't want to be the only one...'

    Cool!

So when till when? Every afternoon from 2.30pm? Till what time? Will see if I can get a lift from here. Office hours are till 1pm, forgot about that when posting earlier, so I don't have an excuse for the afternoons. (provided I haven't miraculously found a new job before then haha)

What sort of placards did you guys have in mind? I was thinking about it and came up with "Summit Agenda: Anti-Gun: 5*, Pro-Gun: 1. #RIPFairRepresentation" although I'm not sure that sets the right tone.

    * Not sure if the right number is 5, so check that first.

Usually with protests or public gatherings there must be some sort of approval from the police? I think? Do we have that in place?

We have some arrangements (although it may still be too early to announce). A radio station to podcast from the steps. A bunch of pretty people in T-shirts. Sport-shooting Forum has brochures in the works to be handed out and discussed with passers-by.

Guys, to echo JS4. If not you, then who? If not now, then when?

'Someone' has to be first, then someone will be second, then third, then there's a small crowd!
