ADP Mk II looking for a safe home
Howdy collectors,
I'm looking to part with my first ever handgun, an ADP MK II. Not sure if it is collectable or not but I'd hate to have it handed in at the cop shop. I'll not be selling it, it's not quite functional atm... and there is no way I'd let someone trust their life to it.
So, if there is a collector out there that'd like to offer a battered and bruised (it saved my hip from road rash once) little pistol a safe environment to live out it's remaining years, please drop me a line.
I still have the original cleaning equipment, booklet and box. 2/3 standard mags and a 20 rounder.
Will try remember to take pics if there is any interest.
gunna 2 cool et jeemail dot kom (if you can't figure it out... sigh). Still not got round to emptying out my inbox or getting the membership sorted from the bounce... so no PMs.
Cheers,
Gunna.

Re: ADP Mk II looking for a safe home
Will try remember to get some "kikkies" tomorrow for you. The issue at the moment is that the connector for the gas piston is broken. Was a fun fact to discover this my first range session after retiring it to the safe when it had been my primary SD for the previous 20 years.

Re: ADP Mk II looking for a safe home
Why not get it decommissioned if it is unserviceable anyway and keep it?

Re: ADP Mk II looking for a safe home
Who said it was beyond repair? It's actually not bad at all now that I've re-inspected it. All that's needed is a new piston and retention pin.
Here you can see the tar marks... the slide has a little ding top rear and the mag base plate is a bit thinner now
You will note that there is no damage to the area that retains the piston
The broken piston
Forgot to mention, it has Trijicon night sights on as well. Not sure if the tritium is working though.
