Only seen a reference to this on eBlockWatch.

Apparently a lady was being hijacked. Guy behind saw what was going on and fixed both of them.

I have seen it on the FB page of eBlockWatch. It is a closed group, so if you have not joined the group, you cannot read their page. Be warned, it is wall-to-wall fucktards there.
I can't give a link anyway because I'm using the iPhone FB app.

eBlockWatch is very commercial. Not worth the effort.

{One of the suspects lies dead on Ontdekkers Road.}

Two hijackers was shot dead on Ontdekkers Road at the intersection with Crane Street last night at about 6pm.

Two young woman were travelling from Johannesburg to their homes in Randfontein when they stopped at the intersection four armed men approached them demanding their vehicle and valuables.

Another motorist saw what was happening and a shootout between the suspects an him ensued. Another for suspects managed to flee in the vehicle while the motorist shot dead two of the suspects. As the exchange of shots took place the two woman sped off.

While on the scene the Record was harassed and abused not only by Honey Hills Neighbourhood Watch but also by two high ranking police officials from Roodepoort police branch. <---- (??)

I need to vent about the people on eBlockWatch, and I suppose it is much the same on N24. Since this is my thread, I can derail it

As soon as there is an apparent SD shooting, the 'tards come flooding out of the woodwork saying how the shooter is fucked, he's going to jail for murder, only the criminals have rights, he's going to lose his firearm licence, etc, etc. Not to mention the double 'tards that even have sympathy for the apparent BG's.

Of course it always depends on the facts, and the last time I saw a report full of decent FACTS on social media (and often the press) on one of these incidents was . . . . never.

Yes, there are "good" and "bad" shoots in terms of justification for using lethal force. We are just so aware of it here on GS.

It just amazes me and irritates me beyond belief what ignorance is out there. Stoopid twats.

Yeah it's amazing how much ignorance there is, as you said. Some people think it's just daisies and laughter out there. It's not. Not in SA, not in whatever other country. Then it also amazes me, and a lot of us, how everyone's an expert in all the scenarios, and what's what.

This and some of the post on the Gunsite FB page also give me the shits, I've now made a decision not to comment on Facebook because my blood pressure does not cope with all the crap. People do not realize that its an open public forum and anyone can read what gets posted and does not give firearm owners the right coverage. To many fucken keyboard cowboys out there.
