Lost my EDC torch - suggestions on replacements?

Thank you for all the inputs!! I am torn between the MH12, Fenix PD35 of the Klarus XT12 / XT2C. How important is through (distance) in an edc flashlight. I am trying to get a flashlight for close work and one that gives more distance. The Klarus XT 15 has 385m through.

Or am I trying to get a flashlight that does not exist?

An EDC light is supposed to have a lot of lumens with a small diameter head so you light up a bigger area close range. The bigger the reflector of the torch is the more it will focus the light into a beam and the less EDC it becomes.

EDC is also a light with good run time and needs to have a reliable battery with reliable composition like lithium-ion - does not loose charge when not in use does not leak does not built up memory quickly when recharged.

Beam profile should be combination beam flood and beam combined for safety reasons.

Light should not cycle modes on you and you should always know what comes out in front when you press the button under stress then there is a lot more but this is the short version. Take it from a Lady that has been a Police Reservist for 5 Years in Pretoria:-)

Our torches has a 5 year warranty first 2 years is replacement.
