Morning Gents
Are reading one of the threads about someones first hunting trip thats about to begin and the nerves and excitment that goes with it, I thought of starting a thread whereby we can all show our first buck ever hunted and perhaps add some detail.

I did not have a rifle at the time and was waiting for my license to come through for a Sako 75 308 win. The elderly gentlemen that came with us on the trip let me use his P14 303 Br which I bought after that trip having let sentiment get the better of me. I still have the rifle today. This was in 2007. You will notice from the pic I was a first timer with a silver watch on the wrist.... LOL

It has replaced beef in our house, as everything its all in how you take care of your meat. (Not hard to keep cool when it's -25C) I do everything from field to plate at home. Sorry for the derail
