I'm a Glock die hard and faced this very dilemma. If you want a EDC gun get the G17, but for sport get the Shadow. I did and i love it.

I have a P07 for EDC, so that is covered already.

Main dilemmas:
Really need to try before I buy
Bloody kids insist on eating.

Forget try before you buy. I'm a Glock convert, selling my only other pistol at the moment and going all Glock. Despite this, I can't get rid of the want for a Shadow after giving FantomBadger's a go recently. If I had to choose between my G34 and a Shadow, hmmmm.
