Sport-shooting Forum
Today Sport-shooting Forum held our much-delayed inaugural meeting.
At this meeting my term as Interim Chairman came to an end and I presented my Chairman's report as is proper.
The fully representative meeting then ratified my report and all of the actions and activities that the Steering Committee had been involved in in the past 6 months, and all of our current and planned activities going forward.
We finalised our Terms of Reference and elected a committee to carry us forward.
I am pleased to announce our new Exco:
Chairman: Paul Oxley
Joint Vice-chair: Nic Roets
Joint Vice-chair: Tebogo Kwape
Secretary: Michael Nel
Additional member: Mark Neves
On behalf of the new Exco I would like to express my thanks for the confidence displayed in us by all present. We will make every effort to represent all sport-shooting in South Africa well on the political front."Always remember to pillage before you burn"

Re: Sport-shooting Forum
I need also to publically acknowledge the immense role played over the last 6 months by Stephen Palos (Chairman of the Hunters Forum) who would have been re-elected but for him requesting that we not put him in the position whereby he would be in the same meeting as us, but wearing two hats.

Re: Sport-shooting Forum
Thank you Paul and everyone at the Sport-shooting Forum.
Is this a opt in pay for membership to help with finances organization, or is the "this is my cricket bat" T-shirts our ticket to belong? How do we participate, what can I do?

Thank you Paul, the ExCo and all involved, for unifying the vaguely aligned organizations with a common cause. All best to you... and all of us.
