Default Why is the G34 not legal for Production?

Just because I'm interested, no axe to grind. But why?

    :- P

ETA: Ah. Should've googled a bit more. Barrel length > 127mm

And because of this I cannot shoot my G34 in Production and have to shoot my G19 - till I get the license for my Shadow.

From the same guys who turned cricket into baseball, and rugby into NFL... no real surprise there bud.

USPSA is NOT ISPC ... let us not forget that.

I sometimes think USPSA is better, like the rules allowing 6" limited guns with long mags, but then they have the rules about no speed holsters and 10 shot mags for Prod and I am all for IPSC again..

No thank you to USPSA as a first choice. They have some weird rules. As an example. You can actually walk the stage the day before, or any time really. Not really fair to people travelling from far. Apparently they have very complicated stages at times, but you have day+ to solve the problem. So what is the point.
The organization is also in a bit of crisis at the moment from what I gather. The ranges where the last two big nationals where held are still waiting for their money. This years Steel challenge nationals has been cancelled because of the mess in the admin of USPSA.

For my money IPSC has kept the rules clean and strict and workable for most countries. This is just my opinion, but I think IPSC is a tougher challenge of your skills of solving a problem with a handgun.
Would I shoot some USPSA as well if I lived in the US? Absolutely. Yes I am bigot like that. :-)

We/you had the opportunity to observe the stages the day before nationals last week. Or you meaning actually doing walk throughs?

Yes... unlike us, they can do a full walk-through at any time. (finger gunning)
