Remember 16 June 1976
I was wondering how many people remember back that far. It is a day that has allways stuck in my mind, I was on a "Troep train " back from a border stint when the train stopped at Prieska or Upington (Memory fading) , and a lot of Brass and "Dankie Tannies" on the station. One of the senior officers then told us about the riots that had started, all of us where then in a huge hurry to get back and take care of loved ones at home.

A bit before my time.
Thanks for sharing - so different at the time.Be ready for anything, and if his head is not at least two meters away from the body, do not 'assume' he is dead and out of the fight. - Ikor
