Recent hunt-Limpopo.

Just a few pics of a recent hunt.My father,Ruan,Reno an myself shared a wonderful few days in the bush.
The rifles used were a Browning X-bolt 30-06,custom.308 CZ550/20"Hart barrel,45/70 Lever gun,243AI Howa on local made aluminium chassis and a Mojet 6mm Rem Ackley.I also took my 17HMR with Pulsar on for a few jackal.
My fathers eland bull and kudu bull shot with his 30-06 and 150gr Woodleigh PP bullet.

Ruan's wildebeest bull shot with his 45/70.

Ruan's very nice waterbuck bull shot with his .253AI and 87gr Bergers.

My waterbuck bull shot with my .308 and 150gr Woodleigh PP bullet.

A pig I shot with Reno's 6mm Rem Ackley.

Reno and Ruan also shot a few pigs and an impala ewe with his 6mm Rem Ackley,sadly no decent pics of the pigs and the impala pic is not suitable for the net.
Some jackal were shot with Ruan's 243 and the 6mm Rem Ackley and the little 17hmr.

Nifty plan for draining water from rice using mutton cloth :)

We had some lovely simple but delicious meals.

I cannot wait to hopefully walk such roads again.
