Woman foils attack

Three attackers gained entry into a house on a smallholding in the Buffelspoort area near Rustenburg just after 20:00 last night.
The husband and children were tied up but the woman managed to hide in a clothes cupboard where she got hold of her firearm.
When one of the attackers entered the room she gave him two shots.
He died on the scene
The other two fled.
Her husband sustained knife wounds.
